Veolia World Solar Challenge Outreach Program

RiAus and the Aurora Solar Car will Alice Springs on Friday 14 October in the lead up to the Veolia World Solar Challenge. The Aurora Solar Car will be in the Todd Mall to demystifying the science behind solar cars. Teachers, students and the public will see the Aurora Solar Car in action and have a chance to discuss the design and technology with members of the Aurora Team and Zoz Brooks of the Discovery Channel.
From the RiAus team, Lisa Bailey will be with the Outreach Program along the entire route, Kathy Granger will be travelling from Katherine to Alice Springs, and Cobi Smithwill be travelling from Alice Springs to Pt Augusta.
Zoz Brooks from the Discovery Channel, Martin Brooks and Nick Grant from the Aurora Team, and representatives from Veolia will accompany the RiAus team, stopping at all towns along the route.
