Central Australia General Permit Information 

Permit systems are designed to help protect the privacy of Aboriginal communities, encourage Aboriginal people to be involved in projects on their land, preserve Aboriginal culture, safeguard the natural environment, and promote visitor safety.

Tourism Central Australia offer the Mereenie Loop permit which covers those traveling through the Red Centre Way please contact our Visitor Information Centre 60 Gregory Terrace or phone 08 8952 5800.
