Postal Services

The Alice Springs Post Office is located on Hartley Street. It is open between 8:15am and 5pm Monday to Friday, closed Saturdays, Sundays & Public Holidays. The Ayers Rock Resort Post Office is located in the town shopping mall. It trades between 9am and 6.30pm Monday to Friday and 10am and 2pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Translation Services

Assistance with English can be obtained by phoning (08) 8951 5389 in Alice Springs or by phoning the Translating and Interpreter Service on 131 450. This service operates 24 hours a day for the cost of a local call. 

Disabled Services

Many hotels and accommodation houses have rooms specially equipped for access for disabled people. A number of Central Australian National Parks have facilities enabling access for people with disabilities.
