Travelling by bus or coach is a great option if you want to experience the adventure of an Outback road trip, but don't want to drive yourself. Instead, you can relax on one of the many air-conditioned coachlines that regularly travel to The Centre. After you arrive, you can also take a local coach tour around The Centre for a few days.

Public Buses 

Once in Alice Springs there is a local bus service that operates on weekdays and Saturday mornings, however they do not operate during public holidays. This bus service offers public transport to all four major town regions: North, East, South and West.
