By Caravan
Driving with a caravan into Central Australia is made easy with the first-class sealed roads of the Northern Territory. Starting with the Stuart Highway, the main artery of the region, you'll find that 95 percent of all Northern Territory tourist spots are accessible by sealed road. There are several well-mapped tourist drives, including the Explorer Highway, which takes you from Adelaide to Darwin through the heart of Australia on the Stuart Highway. Be sure to pick up the latest Exploring the Territory brochure, which lists the many fully-equipped caravan parks, wayside inns and roadhouses throughout the Territory. |
