The Tattersall’s Finke Desert Race is an off-road two day race through desert country from Alice Springs to the Finke community Aputula. People from all over Australia and the world converge on Alice to compete and enjoy watching motorbikes, cars and buggies battle for thousands of dollars in prize money. The Finke Desert Race is held on the queen’s birthday weekend each year.

Situated 200km Northeast of Alice Springs, the Harts Range Annual Races are a traditional bush sports weekend. This great family outback event offers an action packed weekend, including a gymkhana, horse races, bull riding and Saddle Bronc. As the sunsets, the popular ute competition kicks off followed by a black tie ball. Camping facilities, showers and toilets are available, a small fee applies.

Watch bare-back bull riding, steer wrestling and team roping plus many other events throughout the evening.
